Idea for March month-long Challenge

Since we are in the last week of February, I was thinking of possible challenges for the month of March.
Here is my idea: "The Home"

Each week take photos of a particular room, one part, one item, walls, objects in the room, etc. Be as creative as you want as long as the subject for the week is in that room.

Week One: Living Room
Week Two: Kitchen
Week Three: Bathroom
Week Four: Bedroom
Last three days of March, photographer's choice.

So for example, living room could be a close up of curtain fabric, the leg of a sofa, fisheye of the whole room, macro of a lamp shade, carpet design, etc. You get the idea.
I thought this might be a good idea since so many people are in colder climates and would not need to leave the house. It also gives you a chance to look at your home in a unique way.
I think we can all be very creative!

Well, it should be fun, not work, so just move any extra items (translate: mess) to another corner of the room.
Seriously, it doesn't have to be the whole room, unless that's what you want. It could be just a corner, one piece of furniture or one object. Experiment with lighting, color, and arrangements.
It should, and will, be fun!

LOL at Mairead! Yes, I'd be interested in this challenge also, but I will be away from home for most of March so unfortunately I'll have to pass on it. I will however try to make sure I do the spring cleaning!!

I was thinking an occupational challenge entitled "All in a Day's Work" or "On the Job". Performing tasks, supplies used, what you see on the job. Perhaps a project from start to finish or somewhere in between. coworkers, SPs...etc. Anybody interested? Retirees can show their hobbies, travels...housecleaning.

Alida, I think it's a great idea! I was just saying I wondered if I would do a pad next month (because it takes so much time to post commentes to every pad, let alone take and do my own) ... but this is tempted because it is one I can do. I have one boring tiny bathroom, not sure anyone wants to see it for a week but sure would be a challenge to try and be creative!

I don't think this challenge has to really 'show the inside of the house to the world' .. you could do macros or close up views of an object in the room that we would take your word for it that it's in the room. There are many abstracts, closeups, items in rooms that wouldn't identify the room so much if you got creative.

I have no intention of showing anyone my rooms because I am not proud of them at all , but some detail from each room could be fun.

My thoughts exactly, Laryl.
This isn't a "show me your house" project.

My intention was to have a theme that centered around home and the rooms in our homes.

So for example, a bathroom shot could be a handle on the faucet, or the reflection of the sun on the wall over a towel.
The kitchen could be a collection of utensils or the handle on a cabinet.
And, of course, if you say it's the bedroom or bathroom or kitchen, then it is. No one will come and check!
In fact, it really doesn't even have to be your own house!

The idea is to have a theme. It seems like an easy one to do, you don't have to brave the cold and you can be very creative!

You can do the photos in color or black & white. Just be creative!
