the free dictionary: focus attention on the object as an object, reducing its historical and expressive content to the bare minimum.
art movements: simplicity in both content and form, and seek to remove any sign of personal expressivity. The aim of minimalism is to allow the viewer to experience the work more intensely without the distractions of composition, theme and so on.

Wont be joining in during January as my time will be limited & I will be away halfway through the month.

wish I had been able to keep up with the Cultural Challenge too, but it was not possible.

I have decided I have way too many images sitting on my HD & CDs & will be using them, so therefore I wont be doing a PAD or Occasional for the first time since 2004

I probably will just do the Thur. Totally Informal Transglobal Challenge (wish they just call it the Thurs. Challenge) as trying to see and make comments on all the entries takes so much time. I did have fun but got a lot less sleep! LOL.

Though minimalism might work, it's too broad a subject to be interesting as a challenge to me. Can we be more specific?
Or maybe there is another idea. Of course I can't think of one now. If I dream about it tonight, I'll post it tomorrow.
