POSSIBLE TEXAS MEET UP??

Mojoflowerchick and myself wanted to see if anyone was interested in a Pbase meetup in Texas....Dallas/Fort Worth or east of here....anyone interested and any idea where we would want to meet up or what date? I'm thinking somewhere at the first of May....feedback most welcome!

I might be in Texas in the Houston/Galveston area from the 27ish April to the 1 of May.

but if you can do the following week, I can be there...

some ideas:
Caddo Lake (if you like swamps & canoeing) -
Lost Maples should be pretty by then (it's a bit far afield),
we could go for a ride on the Texas State Railroad
anyplace near Austin

OMG! I wish that I had the time and the $$$$ to come to Texas! Hell, I even have a Fort Worth tee (compliments of Cindi!). I will be there in spirit though!

Saddly myself and a number of other DFW pbasers all work at Scarborough the Renaissance Festival, so we will be working weekends from April 5th through Memorial Day Monday. Pump it to June and I am there!

I could possibly do late June (after the 23rd)... after I recover from jetlag from ~3weeks in the land of Oz.... nothing better than a steamy East Texas summer- or was that home-grown tomatoes!!
