Why Not Create Your Own Recent Uploads Gallery?

Mainly due to my laziness and never having enough time for Pbase surfing, I often get frustrated that I am missing some of the best work of my Pbase heroes.

The Pbase navigation and 'representative image' facility doesn't make it easy to see all the recent uploads by a Pbase artist in one place.

I have created a gallery of my own recently uploaded images:

I have also created a Topic where I would like to collect links to similar galleries of my favourite artists and friends.

Can I encourage you to create your own 'My Recent Uploads' gallery?

Maybe the principles of such a gallery would be:

- Restrict it to one page if possible.
- Routinely add copies of the best of your recent uploaded images to your new gallery.
- Delete older images as you add new ones to keep it fresh and restrict it to one page.
- Add a link to this forum to encourage viewers to visit other 'My Recent Uploads' galleries.

Maybe I can look forward to easier surfing, and to see more great pictures rather than sub-conciously judging other artists by just their last image!

John, I like the idea. Many times I found myself missing whole new galleries for days, just because I did not have time to browse

I would suggest two more things
- no more than one page with let say up do 20 images.
- Since PBase sucks in identifying original gallery when image belongs to multiple galleries, link to the original gallery under each image.
