Spanish or Italian?

Post Fri May 26, 2006 1:00 pm

I received the following three comments in my guestbook area and was wondering what language it is? Any help translating would be greatly appreciated.

^Luogo grande..! Buona fortuna ai proprietari...:) http://www.bakersfield-florists.com

Luogo che bene informato e piacevole avete!!)) http://www.sfletterpress.org/

pozzo.. che cosa posso dire.. luogo piacevole, buon stile, lo gradisco :) http://www.bizcoachmde.com

Thanks!

Gary, it's Italian coming out from an automatic translator. The original language is English.
Look at the last sentence:
"Pozzo.. che cosa posso dire.. luogo piacevole, buon stile, lo gradisco"
the original probably reads:
"Well... what can I say... a pleasant place... I like it"
"Well" has two meanings in English: "Good" and "Source".
The automatic translator has chosen "Well" as "Pozzo" = "Source"
LOL

Take care

I'm still laughing at the idea of translating "Well... what can I say?"
as
"Spring... what can I say?"
:D

I'm wondering why they felt the need to translate in the first place? I have never spoken Italian anywhere...

I got the Bakersfield Florists one too, and assume it is not from Craig Persel - more likely from a loser someplace else....

The funny thing is, I went to my guestbook this morning and all three comments have disappreared. I personally didn't delete them either. Strange indeed.

I have no clue.
But the self-deleting feature worries me.

Here's a helpful link that I use often:

http://dictionary.reference.com/translate/text.html

It is sometimes, however, not a completely accurate translation but with some imagination one can usually figure it out.
