Well done to all those who completed the challenge.

I missed it, but a lot of my images ended up to be black and white anyway.

Here's one of my daughter on her birthday (had to be my favourite! :D )

For me this was a hard challenge....Normaly I'm almost exclusively color.

I found out that B/W photography is a lot different than color.
I had to compose the photo in a other way in my mind.
things that look excellent in color are boring in monochrome and visa versa...

This is my best shot...... the B/W made this photo 'rock'

For me it has to be this one, taken on February 3rd.

For those who have not seen it before, you may need to go large on it, but if you look very carefully you can see the peaks of Goat Fell behind the tall tree [ hope your monitors are calibrated ]

This one helped me understand best where B&W 'fits in':-

My hats off to those of you did the challenge, but I wanted my flexibility and freedom.

Anyhow, this was my fave from my B and W's from February.

Tough decision for me. I guess I will go with "Engarde" from the 2nd of the month although I am just as happy with "Leaky" from the 23rd and think they are easily the two strongest images I had this month.

Gary Winters - February Fourteenth

I just feel like the photo captures the moment and it feels like the people are still running round in circles with the clouds above beautifully striped across.

I'm a novice myself so pics like this could only inspire me

I did not participate in the challenge, however, I too followed all the exceptional work that was submitted. Bravo to those who took part in the challenge and came up with some outstanding images.

This is a shot I took in February that I am particularly fond of, I hope you enjoy it.
