Chester (UK) :) - PaDders meet?

Post Thu Feb 16, 2006 3:25 pm

Anyone fancy meeting up one day in the Chester/Liverpool/Manchester area?
Could even venture forth into North Wales....

Ideas for locations please... Stick to one location or do City, Coast, Country type tour? Finishing in The Shrewsbury pub in Mickle Trafford :)

It's an even longer way for me but if you'd like to send a limo 'round,
I'll tip the driver well!

Can't guarantee it but keep me on the "possibles" list.

I'd love too. I live in Appleton, Warrington, and would even be willing to volunteer my house. We have a lovely farmland view out the back. Might even make some good pictures.

I’m a non-PAD North West UK PBaser and so only partly qualified. On the other hand I am quite silly and would I’d love to join in, diary permitting.

Now this is one I just might be able to make, time and date permitting. Would have loved to go to the London Meet-Up but it was just too impractical for me on that date. Will keep checking. Oops, just realised, may have to commence Pad again :)

Judging by the great spirit at the London meetup, a Northern event would be fun

No you don't need to be a PaDder, but it's catching so you might end up with the PaD bug!

Hi Angus - guess you're right, but I'd hate to be thought of a Southerner.....

Oh now I've upset them really 'down South'.... Sorry in advance!

Perhaps you should have said Northwest England rather than UK, but even that's a bit of a stretch for me as a newcomer, since we're quite a ways from the Scottish border. But the area does seem to get refered to as the Northwest unofficially and officially. I can kind of relate to it coming from California. It's sort of like calling San Franciso Northern California, which probably seems kind of funny for someone in Eureka.
