30-Jan-2006 - Hardware upgrade and scheduled downtime - We're planning a major upgrade of the main database server which will provide much increased capacity and reliability.
We're hoping to make the change during the weekend of 11-Feb-2006. Most of the equipment is already installed, but we're waiting on some parts which will need testing, so the date may have to be rescheduled.
During the transition, we'll put the site in read-only mode. This means you'll be able to view everything as usual, but new uploads and editing won't be possible until we finish copying the data to the new machine.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we expect the improvement in performance to be well worth it.
