ttb.pbase.com could not be found

Post Fri Jan 13, 2006 1:01 am

Has anyone else seen the mes. "ttb.pbase.com could not be found" over and over today when you click on thumbs and links?

I see Slug left a post/tidbit. Perhaps he might decide to answer one of these problem posts.

I keep getting "login" at the top right of the page whenever I click on anything. It's keeps logging me out for some reason. And that's only when the page actually loads! Something bugging PBase today? :?

1. I see I'm not... "A" losing my mind  "B" the sole victim of some computer virus :?

2. As with most posts about problems, Slug is not taking the time to answer :(

Emily replied elsewhere that the problem is fixed.

Looks like it is.

Was about to fire off the computer off the roof.... or hubby to pick up the phone and call our cable co. with a military voice "WHAT IS WRONG WITH OUR INTERNET!?" But I figured out it was pbase when other websites worked fine.

Glad it works now

Same thing today. Had trouble signing in for a while, then when I finally was able to sign in, I froze up in the first gallery I went to look at. So far this year things are already looking worse than last. Hope it won't stay that way.

I not only had this problem today, but it totally messed up IE. After getting the message, I clicked out of IE only to have it replicate itself in what looked like minimized screens - oh, about 500 times before I shut down the computer. Very, very weird. All seems well now - ran a virus scan and all just to make sure.

looks like they changed some things around today. A few off and on sluggish periods. Hopefully they are on the right track this time

The question about selective coloring/saturation... it can also be done with the History Brush Tool (brush symbol with the arrow rotating around it on your pallet). That in combination with isolating whatever you want to saturate or just a steady hand/mouse works really well.[/b]
