PaD Galleries

Post Tue May 24, 2005 9:40 pm

I'm only 4 days in, but I've never seen my photo come up in the PaD galleries. My root gallery is a a PaD gallery, and the only gallery I have. What have I done wrong?

And, this forum is fantastic for a newbie. I love checking out the other galleries, and I must say that pbase photogs are better than any group of photogs I've seen at ANY of the other photo hosting sites. I am humbled 98% of the time I click any link.

It's been a blast joining up.

go to 'edit root gallery' and scroll right down and choose "make this your photo a day gallery"

help?

Thanks, but I'd already done that:

<<My root gallery is a a PaD gallery, and the only gallery I have. What have I done wrong? >>

I posted my new shot this morning, and have been checking the PaD galleries ever since.

Thanks for any advice.

Did you upload it straight to the gallery or move it from another one? If it was moved then it would show up at the time it was originally uploaded.

If you did upload it straight to the gallery, and have ticked the 'make this your pic of the day gallery' button, then there must be a bug. In that case it is maybe best to email emily@pbase.com

Another thing you could try first, maybe, is to create a new gallery and make that your pic a day gallery rather than the root gallery.

You would then need to re-upload the pics to the new gallery (rather than move them).
