Abusing the Meta Gallery?

In a span of less than 24 hours, I saw 3 different pics by LA TOAN VINH all in the Meta. Surely, this is blatant abuse. But I guess no one can do anything about it.

Sometimes people have to upload more than one picture a day - for example, if I'm catching up on a holiday away, I might post several in one day to get back to normal posting as quickly as possible. Only the most recent picture of those posted remains in the meta date - each image is replaced in the meta date by the subsequent image.

There are other abuses.
People who use the PaD as a show-case for their work.
People with more than one account.
And so on...

But more grievous are the Pop List abuses, in my opinion.
Some people vote for their friend blindly, without any relation to the quality of the work.
This is PLSES, Pop List Search Engine Spam.

I sometimes wish I have relatives and close friends who do that, LOL!!!

I doubt it's catching up back from holiday uploads. They are just bad pics of girls in the same clothes in various poses and showing their butts. And he/she has been posting several pics every day now. Whom do I write to regarding this?

Write is not going to help, yogi.. I complained about someone being VERY personally abusive to me and they didn't even write back to say.. "stop whining" so uploading more than once to the meta will not be stopped. Besides, how could they decipher between those uploading a backlog of their days while gone from the ones just doing it to be seen at the front of the meta without personally watching it?

There are always going to be abuses where someone's ego and need are involved. Tis the way of the world..

It's easier to breathe and let that go than get all bungied up anyhow..

Yes, I have seen blatant abuse, it does go on. I make a mental note not to visit that person´s gallery.

There are a few sad people in this world and we soon get to know who they are. Just ignore them like a bad soap commercial....

Ok, but they steal visibility from others.
Advertising, and publishers, browse the Pop List.
There are a lot of young talented photographers here looking for success.
In my opinion, Pop List Spam (strictly related to PaD abuse in this moment) shouldn't be tolerated.
And also, it wounds the public image of Pbase.

But Adal, there is no instant showcase for people not doing PAD, so I can understand why people abuse the PAD gallery.

I am still stumbling across some very good photographers who have been around a long time. How are these people going to be noticed? Perhaps by the number of comments they receive, which could put their work in a special gallery.

Going back to Yogi's original point, anyone who uploads three different images during 24 hours is still only going to have one showing in the meta-gallery and if that is not too special, they won't be noticed too much either...

That seems a good idea.
Also useful to exclude the anonymous voters...
