Where to find a model?

I have had this idea kicking around in my head for awhile now, I want to recreate in a photograph, a piece of artwork from the early 20's that I particularily like. I am looking for a model that has to meet certain criteria....for example, she must have medium to long curly reddish hair. Trouble is I don't know anyone who has the looks I need to pull this off, my question is, how do I go about finding her? I have never used models before and I have no idea what they charge or where to even begin.
