Tha amateur home studio...

Post Wed Oct 26, 2005 7:52 pm

I'd love to hear what you have created, if anything, to serve as your home studio. I know there are some with the space and funds to create lavish studios....complete with proper lighting and backdrops, etc. But how 'bout the rest of you. What do you do? Do you have a set place in your house? Do you chase the daylight (I've been known to do this!), do you have a favorite resource for supplies? Where?...and what are those supplies?

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to share your tricks and secrets!

I have no "lighting" to speak of, but have been known to gather up every lamp in the place to grab a photo.
I love photoshopography.......

I have a little spot in the unfinished basement that I use. It is equipped with just a few speed flashes on stands with umbrellas and sheets on the walls for backgrounds.

I also have used just lights and lamps you can buy at the hardware store.
