Dilemia... To collage or just post a photo...

We have this "Whale Trail" going on in New England and I'm hoping to take shots of all of the whales... The dilemia is on weither to post a photo I've taken for the day or as in the case of today, I did a collage of 5 photos all of the same whale...
I'm planning on doing the collages regardless.. just unsure as to weither a collage is true to the Photo a Day as it seems to show off more photoshop/graph work than actual photography...
I started the Photo a Day to improve on my photography... and this is the first I've come up with wanting do some some collages with my photogrpahy so just unsure as to how I want to go about it in my galleries...

Anyone else do collages out there??

Well, I've never done a collage because I don't know how. So...you could do a collage, explain how you did it and it would be EDUCATIONAL too!

I've done a couple of collages as PAD entries. Personally I don't see any problem posting a collage at all.

I suppose it all comes down to how you want to view your PAD project. If this is within the bounds of your interpretation of the rules, then collage away!

Personally, I'd like to see the whale trail collage. Sounds interesting.

I quite like to do a collage for PaD, and judging from the positive responses it 's enjoyed by others so go for it!

One of my favourite PaDs (of m ine!) was a college, with a link to another gallery - pictures I took walking home from work

Another way of showing more than one pic is using one picture as the PaD, and having linking thumbnails to another gallery....
