USA 54; UK 29; Canada 13; France 5; Italy 4; Belgium and Netherlands 3 each; Norway, Sweden, Hong Kong and Greece 2; Australia, Spain, Finland, Cyprus, Iceland, Dubai, Poland, Chile, Romania, India, China, Switzerland, Singapore, Taiwan, Denmark, Mexico, Turkey and Austria all on just the one.
What does this show? Well, nothing really!
But I do conclude that the further north you take pictures, the more likely you are to be on my favourites list. Is it because the light is less harsh in those environments? This even works for those living in the USA, but if you happen to live near the Canadian border there is no need to gloat

I have found Canadians and many ethnic Chinese to be particularly excellent photographers, but I don’t know why.
To counter the ‘north’ argument, I just love photos of people with certain skin colourings, particularly those from India and around.
I like to relate to other Brits on here – I love my country and probably just want to see more of it.
Yes, the UK has far more history to photograph than the USA, yet I don’t crave for photos of old castles, churches or cobbled streets. To me, America has so much more uniformity, but that’s only in my eyes.
One final point, I don’t have any Germans on my favourites. Why? There are 80m of them living in a photogenic country.
