yep i know , i see "pictures" everyday ! moving in paris (subway, la defense http://www.pbase.com/minirecif/la_dfense , is a HUGE tank of pictures).
But i'm often carrying a laptop + my "bag". to this i need to add my camera and its bag ! needless to say that moving in the subway that loaded is a pain !

Am i cheating if i start a " 7 photo a week" = 1 photo a Day gallery ?

My goal is to post pictures as often as i can (close to the 1 a day rythm - but i clearly know it's almost impossible for me to stick to this rule) and at least to produce 7 photos a week.

Can't you bring with you a pocket camera? Compact Digitial Cameras these days take pretty good piectures.

I thinked about it. But, 1st i don't have one
2nd i own a D100 and i'm quite sure i wont be pleased with a pocket one ?!! specially the "lag" after pressing the button

I looked at the Canon A85 which is not really expensive (a bit more than 200€!!) and use the same memory card as the D100 (Compact flash)

I understand minirecif.
I love to TAKE photographs, not only to see them after, and a DSLR is a real delight with its reflex viewer and all the controls.
I have solved my problem with a small bag and an all-purpose zoom.
Solved? In a way...yes
