Photo Critique Topic... Good idea? Bad idea?

Great idea, I often take pictures that I know I can improve on and the constructive criticism would help me no end. on the other side of the coin I also take pictues that I know are just a point and shoot , so on these pictures I can be my own critique and I know what needs improving but just don't have the time. This style of gallery would put the pictures I really want constructive feedback on, into one place. And it has the advantage of letting the commenter say what they wish to say with out fear of offending the artist. I'm so pleased you raised this. I will post my gallery here as soon as I set it up.

Just a reply to bump this topic up on the boards and to let the participants know that I have worked on the three images I had submitted and will be posting them today. I have found the Photo Critique Topic an excellent idea and hope we can continue on after great start.

Thanks for adding me to the group Peter. I hope to learn from this experience. Honest critique by our peers is extremely valuable.

Art is an expression. It can be very subjective. Technical processes can be defined and discussed without hurting anyone's feelings.
I hope that we all can find a good balance in our critique of other's works.
