Is anyone else still getting the "read only mode" message

Me, too. I decided to try to do some clean up while nothing else was working, but I can't seem to delete any photos. The button is no where to be found, and the read only banner pops up always. But...it has only been 7 days...I'm almost getting fluent at Smugmug.

I've been spending more time on Flickr and developing my fluency there...I've had an account there for a couple of years but never paid much attention to it other than to use the groups (they're excellent for equipment specific information) but now I've developed a better understanding of the way the place works and it's pretty swift (though UGLY and rigid in the public interface).

With all the chaos, I've been trying out smugmug and zenfolio... I prefer the ZF interface, but SM has the communities... Hmmm

I, too, have a presents on SmugMugs. I will continue to post on pbase since I am more famliar with it. I added my "favorites" gallery to the refuge site yesterday.

the forum just opened for me a while ago, I find Flikr and othere OK for storage, only Pbase offers the comunity of interacting friends that means so much to me, I appreciate each and every one of you so much. I was vacationing in AZ when the site went down, it worried me, glad we are back!!
