Guess it will turn into a "greenhouse shoot" if the rain sets in! :D

Surprisingly waterproof. Mine got very wet at the Oxford meet and did not suffer. Just be careful changing lenses ;)

Steve, so sorry you cannot make it. I hope all goes well at the Neurologist.

Thanks to everyone for their kind wishes.

I hope you all have a really good time; and that the weather is a lot more dry than wet. I'm also looking forward to someone posting a gallery under the title "Eats, shoots and leaves..." (oh dear... -- perhaps it's a psychiatrist I should be seeing...)!

Have fun...!

So sorry to hear you won't be there Stephen... :( But Kew is beautiful any time of the year so hopefully we can arrange another meet up for the autumn colours. Fingers are all crossed for your appointment.

It's sunny/windy/a little cloudy as I type so I think we'll be OK on the weather front...! :D

Just got back to my brother's after the pbase meet. Thank you Stephen for initiating it, and thanks to all the 13 other pbasers who made this a most special day. I'll have to wait another couple of days before I can upload and view your photos at leisure.
all the best,
Máire

Lovely to meet you Maire. As Nicky says, I hope you weren't put off from joining us again, especially as we were on our best behaviour today haha. A BIG thank you to Stephen who couldn't be there in person today, but was certainly there in spirit.

I had such a good time ! It was lovely to meet Maire, and Malcolm, and David, and Mike for the first time. You know, I actually don't remember it raining THAT much today. Everyone's sunny personalities just shone through :)

All the best for tomorrow Steve - I'll be thinking of you as I sit in another hospital waiting room myself...

Thanks to everyone for making today a great day out - and thanks to Bev and Steve for the lift! :)

Just to thank everyone who went on Sunday for the lovely card that magically appeared on my doormat, this lunchtime! Very kind (and very naughty) of you all!

I'm doing okay, thanks. Have got to have some tests over the next few weeks; but the prognosis looks good at this stage.

Thankfully, it wasn't like this...

Anyway: again, thank you...!
