Hit Counts Declining?

Post Fri Sep 21, 2007 2:24 pm

Hi all. I haven't posted for a while. I finished one PaD in May of 2006, and then took a good break. I just started a new one a couple of days ago. What I was wondering is if other folks had noticed hit counts declining on run of the mill PaDs. In my previous attempt I often had 60-300 hits a day on an image. Now I'm getting 5-10.

Am I just off the PaD radar? Am I that much worse of a photog? LOL?

Just wondering. Fun to be back once a day again. Loved the break, but now eager to fire up again.

I suspect you have just fallen off the PAD radar Bob. I'm sure your hit rate will pick up!

Dan is right, or you might try posting some "artistic nudes" of women. That's sure to do it.

Girlfriends and wives are the most low-cost solution.

Of course I know you guys are joking, still your words don't sound very respectful.
Do you know they could hurt a lot of female partners? Could make them feel abused and exposed?
I know true love can be framed by a couple, dressed or nude, no matter how. It's up to the public whether it is willing to see the intention of the picture or just give it a shallow look noticing the bare skin only.

One of the benefits of self-portraits is that no one is abusing the subject. That's great. Look guys, all by myself! Hit me, hit me!!!!

We couldn't do that Lilith - we'd only be shallowly abusing your willingness to show some skin. Let me log off and sneak a peak anonymously!!!!!

We are opening here the complex and profound philosophical question that goes under the name of self-abuse :D
