Goodbye PaD, it's been fun.

After four and a bit months of PaDing I'm having to pull the plug on my PaD gallery simply due to a lack of time at the moment.

I just wanted to say that it's something that I've really enjoyed doing and a that large part of what I've gotten out of it has been due to the PaD community here on PBase with their comments and support. I particularly liked the January B&W challenge.

I hope to have another go one day.

Pull the plug? Are you taking all that hard work down?

I know I've had a hard time keeping up now things have changed in my life. However, I still have the gallery and post when I can.

I love your work and will keep checking in from time to time.

No, I'm not going to get rid of the gallery, I'm just going to stop posting to it until I can commit to posting more than once every 14 days .

I guess this raises the age old "What exactly is Photo a Day" question? I know that it means different things to different people and that there is no right answer, this is one of the things I like about the PaD community.

For me PaD was about making an effort to make images more than I usually would have been, about trying to find a good image where I normally might not have looked, or simply forcing myself to make an image when I didn't particuary feel like it. At the moment I just don't have time for this.

BUT...

I'm a photographer so I'll aways keep taking the odd photo (or 100 photos if the opportunity arises ) it just won't be the 'project' that PaD was. Maybe sometime in the future.

I'm on the 3rd iteration of PaD. The first time the cold and dark of winter shut me down. The second time I just wasn't motivated. And this time I'm doing well. Not quite everyday. Don't beat yourself up. Come back when you can.

don't sweat it . . .photo a day is what it is . . . but if you can't do it for now, then do PESO . . photo every so often
