I'll bet that 60mm is super with portraiture and as an all-around lens.

Worth investigating.

My favorite lens is...............

My favorite lens for years of shooting film is a Nikkor 24mm f/2.8. This lens let me exaggerate distance and distort images as I moved it up or down. it would bend the subject towards the center also known as parallax distortion. There was no concern about depth of field since the focal length was so short. Just a super sharp lens. my other favorite lens......The Nikkor 300mm f/4.5 kept me away from Mother Bears and mean chicks. and insured me the pan caking effect of close and far subjects.

My most favorite, by a long shot, ;) is my Nikkor 400mm f/2.8 AIS. I paid $1500 used, and it has exceptionally clean glass. Too much CA wide open, but stopped down to f4 and beyond it's a bute! I like to isolate my subjects, and prize good bokeh, this lens gives me both. I use it for candids, macro's landscapes, you name it. It's a bit of bear, but when tamed just right produces stunning images.

Here's an example:
