Fashion Shows and other events

Do you need any special permission to bring your camera to a fashion show?

If anyone has done runway shoots before. How's the eperience? How do you get involved? What's the benefits besides getting the experience? What can you do with the pictures aside from posting them here?

Thanks.

Depends on the show.

I attend smaller local fashion shows and they're happy to let me photograph
any of the models. Models are always interested in receiving copies
for their portfolios.

Check with the promoter or venue for their rules & regulations as
applies to photographing at particular events.

There's an event in San Diego this Sunday and always a fun time there.
.

Don't be afraid to be different than the pack.

In my country, photographers are welcome to the fashion show for free. But, I will always call the organizer and confirm that before I attend it.
Please visit my gallery for more photos of it's kind.
