PaD - Please explain how it works

Yesterday I made one of my new galleries - http://www.pbase.com/nickdemarco/sunrise - my photo of the day gallery. The system must have randomly selected the following photo from that gallery

Which was nice as I noticed it got lots of comments.

But then I was kind of hoping it would select another photo the next day, until it had gone through all 7 photos in that gallery. Does is not work like this? Sorry to ask what might be to some a stupid question but never tried it before and just wondered.

The system will always post the last photo you uploaded as your PaD, this will appear in the meta gallery.

So you need to upload ONE photo a day to your chosen PaD gallery

This photo will then appear in the PaD meta gallery.

Please do not upload more than one photo a day to the gallery as this reduces the chances of other people getting there work viewed.

Ah I see. So I should create a single gallery and put one recent pic in it a day and make it my PaD gallery. That's good to know. Thank you. And of course I shall respect the rules as I think it is such a good idea that everyone can get exposure in this way

Sorry to come back again, but I cannot make it work. I have now set up a PaD gallery, and made that my PaD galery, and added a new pic yesterday and then at just after midnight today, but neither comes up on the PaD forum. It worked with the first pic but never again. Am I doing something wrong?

Should be working. Go to your chosen Pad gallery, edit it and make sure that it is the chosen one (or re choose it). Then upload another image into it and see what happens this time.

Might just be a pbase thing, it does strange things from time to time.

Thanks for the help. I realised I could not copy a photo from another gallery over, but had to download it then upload it again. Problem is now solved.
