Colombia still has a rough reputation for many people, but the reality is a little different. The truth is, Colombia is a remarkably beautiful country with terrific people, and in several months of traveling and living in Colombia, I've never had a bad experience. It's true that there are some places that would be dangerous for me to travel to, but the same is true in America as well. People willing to look past the fear instilled by the media will find in Colombia a truly special place. I hope my photos will inspire some people to discover this country for themselves:
