Going to Berlin for the first in a couple of weeks and was wondering if any of you have any recommendation of what to see or do?

Make sure you spend plenty of time on the Eastern side of the city. it is a cultural gem. You don't need to pick oout specific sight-seeing itineries - just enjoy the feel of the old communist regime (which surprisingly still lingers despite the billoions that must have been poured in over the last 13 years or so).
