Would like to visit Iceland specifically to photograph, any information would be most appreciated.

I'm interested in September, but am not sure if that's a reasonable time to go or not. Would there be fall colors, or more so in August? What's the best time to visit in terms of weather and light?

Would it be worth it to hire a guide to access locations that might otherwise be difficult on my own? Or just rent a 4X4 and go for it?

Anybody interested in coming along?
