tips for shooting in cyprus

I'm travelling to Cyprus this weekend. Does anyone have any photography tips to offer?
Any information on interesting subjects, regions, lighting at this time of the year, any other issue, welcome. Am planning some time on the beaches, the harbours, a couple of monasteries, the mountains.
