Hi Guys I love to travel and going to new places. I am planning to go to Las Vegas this weekend, but I never been there in past. So I need some tips regarding Las Vegas as a tourist place. Can you guys tell me the list of not to miss places in Las Vegas with other details necessary to trip.

As far as Vegas proper I would say walk up and down the strip.

One of my favorite photographic spots is of the Paris, Las Vegas with the Bellagio fountains in the foreground.

Here is a gallery of mine that should give you ideas.

A short drive outside of Vegas is Red Rock Canyon. Their are tours to the Grand Canyon, but what is really cool is a Hellicopter ride at night that goes up and down the strip.

If you want to see what old Vegas looks like take a trip down to Freemont Street at night. They have a sound a light show that runs a couple of city blocks long.

Have fun. Vegas is a great place.

there are TONS of photo opportunities on the strip

i had a great time photographing it all at NIGHT

much better than daylight in my opinion
then you really get a feel for all the lights :)

bellagio fountain
mirage volcano
treasure island pirate ship
hard rock cafe front of the building/sign is cool
new york new york/rollercoasters

we even went to the top of the stratosphere and got some great view shots looking down the strip from birds eye view!

HAVE A BLAST!

Hi, I am frequent visitor to Las Vegas and enjoy it on each occasion more than the previous one. I generally used services of Tours4fun.com for Las Vegas tours. They provide a variety of tour packages to different places for Las Vegas that too at very affordable prices. As far as the list of places is concerned I think you will be get more information from Tour4fun consultant. Their Staff is very cooperative and will give answer to each of your query. Try to go for 3 days tour to Las Vegas as you will be able to see most of good sights in that period. Last time I also used 3 days tour package which includes visit to Mojave Desert, Hoover Dam, various Las Vegas Hotels and Casinos, Grand Canyon National Park etc. The transportation and accommodation given to us was good. They provide us guide who has adequate knowledge about these places. Their stuff was working to make us at ease as much as possible.

You should check out that shooting range where you can fire machine guns. Not only would it be a fun experience (if you're into that kind of thrill) but it could be a great photo op.

They don't allow tripods up there so you may want to plan some sunset shots.
