MONGOLIA

Hello PBase travel community :D

What sized lenses would you recommend for a trip through Mongolia? I'm really looking for some type of wide-angle lens for desert and mountain landscape shots, any recommendations? I'm a big fan of canon if that helps (Nikon is great too). I would take my Canon 28-200 as a walk-a-round lens, but I'm really searching for a good lens for landscapes.

On another note: pertaining to travel...
Has anybody been through the Altai Mountains in the Altai Tavanbogd Natl Park outside Bayan-Olgii? How difficult is the trekking (10-day trek in July)? Also... how's Nadaam?

Thanks!

For what it's worth I travel with the following...

17-35mm f/2.8-4
28-200mm f/2.8-5.6
24-70mm f/2.8
