I have been reading the Travel forum that visiting the States is unfriendly and that your not made to feel welcome. We laugh over here off the Pacific and agree "it's only the British" Come on over to the beaches and hang out. Ladies you will get boo-coo much attention especially while your watching the sunset. And you blokes, You are not finished educating us on what a beer really is. It's not the pi%^# and pop that insults anyone who knows what a real bitter or lager is. It's only 6,000 miles and don't pack any clothes remember we're just hanging out. San Diego Loves the British!

What promted that?

My first trip to the US was to San Diego and, indeed, I found the people to be very fiendly. Four years later I moved to the states, t'other side of the country though.
