I am off to Copenhagen during the long weekend. Any tips from fellow travelers on what not to miss and what to avoid? Any other practical trips are more than welcome!

I took a day trip to Friedricksborg Castle and Louisiana Modern Art museum, north Copenhagen.

Tivoli Gardens was great - lots of good, but expensive food, music, a pantomime, extreme rides, rides for kids, water fountains etc.

Thanks for the suggestions. Nyhavn was nice. I didn't get the chance to go out to Friedricksborg castle. Tivoli was indeed fun!
