I was wondering if when you guys' both shot those photographs in las vegas if you had any problems with thiefs and the like. Did you shoot alone or with a buddy? I am asking because in a decent sized city called Corpus Christi, TX i was jumped by a guy the 2nd day i had my 300D. Luckily I got away due to him being a retard and all cracked out, but in a big city like Las Vegas im assuming it gets worse    . Let me know.

I don't think of the Strip in Vegas as being a high crime area by any means. In the major hotels, etc., esp. casinos, they are watching you. I'm sure there are areas that could be trouble away from the main tourist haunts - but why go there? I don't think the organizations running the casinos in Vegas like competition. I didn't even think about crime while I was shooting mine, at least no more than I would any place else.

Vegas is safe if you stay on the Strip

I found the Strip perfectly safe. I was out at all hours either with my wife or alone. No problems.

Here are just some of my pics from my last visit

Personally, I find downtown Las Vegas provides many good photographic subjects, but I just cannot stand the place. I go there once a year for CES and I cannot wait to leave -- it's all just so fake and seedy...
