Post You Best Travel Photo!

Post Mon Aug 29, 2005 5:23 am

Let's get this forum going travel photographers!

Post one picure that embodies a particular city. One that when people see it they know exactly where it's at. For example, Eiffel Tower-Paris, Big Ben-London, Hollywood Sign-Los Angeles, etc. We have all seen the cliche photos so I would like to see your variation on it or something completely new!

Post Away!

Hi Bircher, I've got tons of travel photos but not many taken in cities.
Here is my photo that I think defines the frantic pace of Bangkok traffic.
.
I really like both the photos so far!

Filipdabrowki & Arhuaco-Great posts! Anyone who has traveled in Asia knows that the public transportation is CRAZY. Both of your photos give a flavor of the respective cities.

Not many other people contributing so here is another one from me - Phnom Penh. This is taken from one of the guesthouses that surround Boeung Kak Lake, one of the most popular backpacker areas of the city. A few blocks from the busy streets you can relax on the decks of the guesthouse, have a beer and watch the sun set over the lake.

I have heard rumours they are demolishing the whole area for new development but dont know if it is true.

Here's another one for the post:

Clyne-The Burj Al Arab Hotel - the only seven star hotel in the world. Great exposure.
