Uploading pics in internet cafes?

Post Sat Aug 13, 2005 3:43 pm

I'm taking a trip abroad and I'm somewhat worried that I don't have enough storage cards to hold the number of photos I plan to take. Does anyone know if it's common in internet cafes to allow the (temporary) upload of photos or other data onto computers?

If you mean uploading to a website, then no, it isn't really an option.

Have a look at this site for tips on storing digital images on the road.

I have been to middle east, it was allowed, but the connetions are too slow for many high-res pictures. We used a mobiel storage device with two harddrives we could exchange for having two backups. The best solution depends on what size the pictures are, how long you plan to travel and how much pictures you take ;)
