Help on memory stick!!!

Hi,
I am using Sandisk UltraII Pro memory stick for my Sony DSC-P72. Once I deleted the whole folder 101MSDCF directly from my computer (as the card appear as an additional drive while connecting with my USB cable from my digicam). After that I'm beginning to have locking problem. As in, it keeps saying the card is lock! So I can't take any pictures! What should I do? I tried QUICK format using my PC. But still is useless. Help needed!!! Thx in advance.

Reformat the memory stick in your camera.

i get a similar problem with CF cards and Mac OS X if i delete the folder but forget to Empty Trash before removing the card from the card reader.
