Hello all,
I'm hoping to get some helpful information from those of you who know more about digital cameras than I do (all of you I suppose!) My wife and I are looking at the two above mentioned cameras and I don't see a whole lot of difference between the two of them except for price ($149.98 vs. $229.98 w/o a $30.00 off coupon for Office Max.)

We want a good solid camera that can take good close-ups for selling on eBay and also be able to take good outdoor shots. I've read up on these two cameras on several sites on the net but I honestly don't know enough about them to see the "real" differences.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
Michael

Definately get the A70. It have a 3x optical zoom, vs none on A300, optional lens, plus a lot advance feature. A sweet camera.

Get A70, period.
Batteries last much longer in A70.
