EOS 300D continuous shooting problems and 10D

Hi,

I noticed on my Canon EOS 300D, that when shooting continuously, the focus is locked on the subject that was previoulsy focused. As a result as the subject moves farther or closer, it gets out of focus within each other shot. :x

Does anyone else notice this?

Does this also happen on the Canon EOS 10D? I am looking to purchase that or wait for its successor in which I hope would be just as capable or better for a lower cost. And which I hope would come soon!

Thanks,

Hugh

The 300D will only do predictive autofocus when in the Sports mode.

The 10D allows you to select predictive from a menu so you can use it in any mode.

Nikon D70 also allows selection of it.
