EOS 300D continuous shooting problems and 10D

Hi,

I noticed on my Canon EOS 300D, that when shooting continuously, the focus is locked on the subject that was previoulsy focused. As a result as the subject moves farther or closer, it gets out of focus within each other shot.

Does anyone else notice this?

Does this also happen on the Canon EOS 10D? I am looking to purchase that or wait for its successor in which I hope would be just as capable or better for a lower cost. And which I hope would come soon!

The 300D will only do predictive autofocus when in the Sports mode.

The 10D allows you to select predictive from a menu so you can use it in any mode.

Nikon D70 also allows selection of it.
