it's my first message...
i look for information and reviews about this camera lens

Sigma 28-200mm f3.5-5.6 DL Aspherical Hyperzoom Macro (72mm. filter diam.)

Where i can find it??!

Try http://www.dpreview.com and http://www.steves-digicams.com go into the forums. Both have forums for Nikon and Canon lenses so it should be covered there.


Another option is to do a search by lens type and then look at some photos by a person using that lens. Ask the photographer any questions you have...

I own this lens (and the Canon 28-105 USM II). It's just as sharp (if not sharper) than the Canon through the 105mm range; tends to front focus. Heavier build, far less prone to zoom creep, nice looking lens.

It's a little tough to control at 200mm, and I felt it was soft at full extension - even on a tripod. But still, it's way better than not having 200mm at all. It's slower to focus, AF is a bit indecisive in low light, the f/5.6 spec at 200mm is restrictive (but typical of this class of lens, even from Canon).

At 105mm, the Canon USM is at f/4.5, the Sigma is at f/5.
