Is loud AF on Canon 135f/2 normal?

I just received a canon 135 f/2 from b&h and the autofocus seems really loud, kinda squeaky, to me. Not as bad as, say, my 50 f/1.4 but much worse than a 24-70 f/2.8 or any other L lens I've owned. Is this normal or did I receive a defective product?

I think this is normal for this lens. Mine is quite new and is also a bit noisier than some other lenses, though the AF works smoothly.

Thinks Hiero. That sets my mind at ease. It's not so loud that other people take notice of it, so the noise itself isn't an issue, but I had worried that it was indicative of some other problem that might manifest over time if not addressed.
