Canon 30D, flash and AV mode

Hi there,

When I shoot in low light environment, even with the built in flash, I can't get the shutter speed to increase like for example when I have it on P mode. What gives? Do I need to increase the ISO? I'm missing something here? I thought by just using the flash the shutter speed would increase to at least 30 in order to have a sharp photo.

Sorry if this question sounds so trivial.

Thanks for any help.

Eduardo

Go into your custom functions, and set the flash sync to "fixed", more info here: http://www.dangphoto.net/how-to.htm
