Firstly I apologize if this is in the wrong section or if this issue has already been addressed elsewhere. I have had a Canon EOS 400D for a little under a year now, and in the last few months it has developed a problem. When I try to take a picture, nothing happens. The camera focuses, but doesn't take the picture. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Intermittent problem or does it happen all the time? If it is intermittent, you may be shooting in a low contrast subject which would cause the autofocus to fail and would not allow the camera to fire unless you shoot manually. If it happens everytime, then your camera may have a problem. Either way, since you are still under a year, I would say send it in the Canon before the warranty expires. They will check it out.
