Canon EOS300D Filter Replacement

How Much ?

Hi, have a month-old Canon EOS300D. Sent it to Canon Service Centre for shutter cleaning and they came back to me that they found a small scratch on the filter . The scratch ( in the middle of the filter ) shows up on bright uniformed background images from Aperture Setting 11 all the way to 36.
Just want to know if anybody out there has had their 300D's filter replaced and how much did it cost .
