My dream bridge camera

I would really like a simple digital camera without all the frills, but with a large sensor, a fixed zoom with excellent optics ranging from 28 to 200 equivalent and excellent low light capabilities in the size and feel of the Panasonic FZ50. Crystal sharp focus seems a thing of the past. With all of the advantages over film, I have not yet been satisfied with the digital revolution. I would love to have my old Canon FTB and lenses with digital capabilities.

A Nikon D40/D60 with the Nikkor AF-S DX 18-200mm VR is the closest you are going to get, IMO of course. Another option might be the Canon 5D with a 28-300 IS L, but that might be a bit pricy.
