Digi rebel time lapse?

Hey i tryed searching for it, couldnt find anything really for it...
Is there anyway to get my rebel to do a timelapse.. i.e. take a shot every 30 seconds... either by hooking it up to a computer <or prefreably being able to do it independantly> thanks guys
