Canon service question

I have a Canon 1DS Mark II and the sensor needs cleaning and possibly repair/replacement (I may have scratched it).

Can anyone tell me from experience how to go about having Canon address this issue, and approximately how much time we're talking about? I've got a photo vacation coming up in a few weeks and I really don't want to be without this camera.
