where is the best place to buy this lens ?

It may not be the cheapest, but wolf cameras will have a store in the area you can visit. If you know the zip code of the area you are visiting you can see where the nearest store is. They currently have the Nikon 200-400 mm f/4G for $5500!!!

I think the concern is being from outside of the US and with no way to order it online for delivery to a non resident US address where can they go?

I suppose depending upon how long one was in Fla. one could order one up and have it shipped to ones lodging...... then again a quick trip to Manhattan might not be out of the question would it?
