Canon 40D bulb setting

Post Mon Apr 21, 2008 12:49 pm

I just got a canon 40D and accidently turned on the bulb setting, so the shutter speed won't go past 30. How do I turn this off. The manual really isn't clear on how to do this.

Thanks!

You've set the shutter speed which implies you're in manual or shutter priority. Use the dial to change the shutter speed down to what you want, or change the mode to aperture priority, or other setting that isn't shutter based.

Thanks! I got it now! I was confused by the numbering and thought I was on 1/30th already when I was actually on 30. Thanks again!
