I had couple of Minolta AF lenses so I went for Sony A-100 when I started to play DSLR. I am very happy with combination of Sony A-100 and Minolta lens. The Minolta lens gives me rich color but not that "vivid" as compared to the kit sony lens. I'd prefer having "cheap" camera plus "expensive" lenses to "expensive" camera plus "cheap" lenses.

If you already have Minolta lenses, that's a good choice. But I find that Sony lenses are more expensive than the rest but not sure if the quality is better. I am switching to Nikon...
